Why did you choose APAX LAB to make your water for the competition?
APAX LAB’s minerals are an excellent way to create consistent, customised water tailored to the specific needs of your coffee, helping to highlight the characteristics you love most. This is especially helpful in a competition, where consistency is key.
In what ways did the mineral concentrates help you win the competition?
Experimenting with the minerals gave me a deeper understanding of how they interact with coffee and how different minerals can highlight or support specific attributes of a coffee. This allowed me to find the perfect blend to emphasise the qualities I loved in my coffee.
What is your favorite APAX LAB profile?
It depends on the coffee. I prefer Tonik [1] when I want a fresher cup and Jamm [2] when I’m aiming for a sweeter profile.

My winning recipe was:
1 Tonik [1] | 1.5 Jamm [2] | 1.5 Lylac [3], and I used a CM natural Geisha from Finca Libre, based in Mozonte, Nicaragua.
