ROAST

The Abu Geisha Lot GN1847 is an exceptional coffee produced by Abu Coffee in Panama's Boquete region. Cultivated at an altitude of 1,550 metres above sea level, this Geisha varietal benefits from the region's unique microclimate, characterised by fertile volcanic soils and a humid, misty environment known locally as "Bajareque." These conditions contribute to the coffee's distinctive flavour profile.

This lot undergoes a meticulous Natural Anaerobic process. Ripe cherries are hand-picked and floated in mountain spring water to ensure quality. After fermentation, the cherries are manually sun-dried on African raised beds for 25 days, resulting in a cup with exceptional clarity and complexity.

In the cup, the Abu Geisha Lot GN1847 presents a harmonious blend of Lavender, cherry, blueberry, and tangerine notes. The initial sip reveals delicate floral hints of jasmine, complemented by the sweetness of caramel and the subtle depth of black tea. As the flavour develops, nuances of bergamot and lemongrass emerge, contributing to a complex and refreshing finish.

Abu Coffee's commitment to excellence has earned it recognition in prestigious competitions, including top honours in the Best of Panama auction. This dedication is evident in the outstanding characteristics of Abu Geisha Lot GN1847, making it a standout choice for coffee connoisseurs seeking a distinctive and memorable cup.

This coffee is juicy, complex and sweet.

We recommend brewing this coffee using 1.5 / 2 / 0.5 g/L of TONIK / JAMM / LYLAC to put the spotlight on the sweetness and the texture of this coffee.
